ABC's OF SALVATION
-
Admit to God that you are a sinner
-
Believe in Jesus Christ as Savior of the world and your Savior
-
Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
Step 1- Admit and Repent

Admit and repent to God that you are a sinner.
Repenting is to feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin.
A biblical definition of repentance is to make a change of mind, heart, and action by turning away from sin and self and returning to God.
“There is none righteous, no, not one" Romans 3:10
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord" Acts 3:19
Step 2 - Believe

Believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior
Salvation is not complicated! Jesus Christ, the perfect, sinless lamb of God, laid down His life and took the penalty meant for us, dying in our place Isaiah 53:6. He paid the debt we could not pay and redeemed us (bought us back) from the power of sin and death.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whosoever believes in him shall
not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household" Acts 16:31
"And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the Name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment. " -1 John 3:23
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9
Step 3 -Confess

Confess with your mouth
God did His part, sending His one and only Son to die in our place. He has offered us a free gift—salvation, the forgiveness of sin, eternal life with Him in heaven.
BUT…we must receive that gift. We must confess our sins 1 John 1:9 and confess (or proclaim) our faith (belief) in the death, burial and resurrection of God’s son, Jesus Christ. Confessing with our mouth requires an outward, public action, not a secret, hidden, timid faith.
Romans 10:9-13
9) That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10) For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11) For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
12) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
13) For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Step 4 - Say the Sinner's Prayer

Heavenly Father,
It is written in Your Word that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that You have raised Him from the dead, I will be saved.
Therefore, Father, I confess Jesus as my Lord, and with my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead.
I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Lord and Savior of my life.
I renounce my past life with Satan and close the door to any of his devices.
According to your Word, right now, I am saved.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Step 5 - Baptism

Water Baptism is an outward sign to all believers that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. If you would like to find out more information please connect with us.

Welcome to TEAM JESUS
Your journey as a follower (disciple) of Jesus Christ has just begun. A newborn baby needs nourishment and care to grow, so you too will need God’s Word, the Bible, to learn and grow in your faith.
You should also seek out a local church (a group of other believers in Jesus Christ) that believes and teaches the unchangeable Word of God.
There you find support and encouragement as your faith grows. There will be battles ahead, but you will not have to fight alone.
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today please click on the the link below and let us celebrate this great news with you.
